My work is in the true confluence of Business, Humans, and Technology. I work with the experiential & evidence-based modalities from bodies of knowledge that brings innovative solutions in how People and Innovation aspects are managed in modern businesses. I believe in cross-pollination of best practices with a neoclassical rigor in the Art and Science of Human Performance Excellence, beyond classical Talent 'management'.
In a world with increasing entropy, our workforce (humans) need resilience, agility and velocity. This is where Hyper-Contextualized Human Performance Excellence Frameworks comes in. This is a far cry from HRM & HRD, and a few modalities of Coaching must be infused in HRIT. This isn't all, but a good start.
A true coaching framework should be Client centric, Iterative and Co-Designed, rather than software-driven such as a Corporate Intranet based App. With a 100% app-driven coaching, the true purpose of coaching is defeated, because a portal based coaching medium is like a book with no index. If a professional knew exactly what they needed, they wouldn't need a coaching in most of the time. Oftentimes Real world operates differently, or we wouldn't have staggering amount of workplace or performance issues.
True coaching is non-rushed, hyper-contextualized, offers an empathic, safe & consultative setup that takes place through classical human-to-human dialog where tech should play a minimal, foundational role. It is nearly impossible to drive results through productized cookie-cutter offering in a subscription based model where the focus of offering is solely revenue. For a truly transformative and evidence-based outcome, this is time we move beyond feel-good temporary Cognitive relief!
